The World Health Organization and medical workers recommend everyone to wash their hands as often as possible because of coronavirus outbreak. Washing your hands helps to prevent many other diseases (from ODS to food poisoning). The problem is that people generally wash their hands not in a right way.
WHO gives such an instruction
Wet your hands (warm water is the best variant).
Use liquid soap or bar soap to wash your hands, there is practically no difference between them.
It is not necessary to use antibacterial soap: it works practically the same as usual soap but it may promote appearance of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. In any case, a soap should be used water alone is not effective against viruses and bacteria.
Lather your palms from all sides and between your fingers too.
Dry hands. If your hands are wet bacteria will easily settle on them.
If you use a paper towel close a tap with its help.
The main point is that you should wash your hands in 20 seconds minimum. If you are not sure about cleanliness of your hands wash them for 40-60 seconds.
