The Louvre will open on 6th of July

The museum has been closed several times because of the coronavirus.

Paris Louvre plans to resume work on July 6, reported the press service of the museum. The statement refers to words of the French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, who announced the possibility of opening museums on June 2, parks and gardens from May 30.

It will be possible to book a ticket to the Louvre on June 15. At the same time, visitors of the museum must keep a distance with others, as well as wear masks.

Initially, the Louvre was closed since 1st of March because of the spread of coronavirus. Then the museum was opened on March 5, but with extra precautions; then it was closed again together with other French museums.
