The Nike brand has donated $5.5 million worth of its products to healthcare workers in the U.S. and Europe – more than 1400,000 pieces of clothing and shoes to help to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
Among the items the company has donated to hospitals there are sneakers of the special model – Air Zoom Pulse – designed specifically for medical personnel. The model was created in November 2019 in collaboration with Oregon Hospital. It takes into account the specifics of medical work and is equipped with a shock-absorbing system to reduce the load on the feet.
In this way the brand has expressed its deep gratitude to the medical professionals who have to work a huge amount of time and to stay on their feet to save people’s lives.
